I AGREE! I think of the MILLIONS of times my Mom would look at something 'creative' I had done and then say "that's nice dear, though I don't have the foggiest idea why you waste your time doing that when there are manual labour skills for you to learn for when you become a common laborer." My Dad never said anything as he just plain refused to look at anything I did. That's why I became a musician at some point 'cause I thought he'd have to pay attention... but then I realized he was pretty much deaf and I was beat.

Anyway - plumbing has been good to me and it has also given me a purpose for my ass-crack, which otherwise would have been wasted on the world. ;D
