Drink Up, Me Hearties, Yo Ho!
Now that we've got a pub, and we've got our avatars, what this ragtag band of pirates needs is a
Drinking Contest! Here's how it will work.
Six contestants will sign up. The contest will run for ten days, starting
this Friday and ending on Talk Like a Pirate Day. On the odd-numbered days, I'll post a photo of a beverage (at about 7 a.m. Pacific). That day, each contestant will chop it and post it here in this topic, or even describe themselves drinking it, in a pirate-y way. (The image will be small, to keep the contest quick and easy.) What each person does with it, is up to them. Now, here's the fun part. On the EVEN-numbered days, the rest of us will vote off one of the contestants, and narrow the field. By the 19th, we should be down to a single winner.
That person will get.. um.. a swanky trophy for their signature field, or something. I haven't quite worked out that part yet.
So, the first thing we need is six rum-swillin' scallawags, who will be available to participate over the next ten days, and who don't mind getting a little grubby.
