I think something went wrong with the drivers.
Since you get a HID uninstall error, I think some drivers can be corrupt or not correctly installed (probably caused by uninstalling the wacom tablet)
Try to use a ps2 keyboard instead of usb if possible for troubleshooting this.
Go to your devicemanager (right click mycomputer > Properties > Device Manager)

Uninstall keyboard and mouse drivers.
If you see your Wacom tablet in the device manager... uninstall that one too.
Restart computer with your keyboard and mouse plugged in. Windows will automatically re-install the drivers for it.
