I agree! Last October when we had a snowstorm and I had no power for a week. I couldn't tell you how many things I took for granted that uses power. I couldn't even cook because my stove was electric. The only technology I had that was still reliable and entertaining was the radio. I also realized how much time technology takes away from family and the time you spend with them. I had a blast with my Mom and daughter playing games and just hanging out talking with no T.V., video games, or internet to distract us from each other.

Edit: Oh yeah, I am an avid camper so I know I would survive if need be, but I would be grumpy without power, haha.
