You can't compare Worth1000 to PSC.
I mean, both websites are about Photoshop contests, but both websites have very different rules.
Each has it's pro's and cons.
For example:
PSC is way more laidback. You are free to do here what you want with your source images, even if you are violating every copyright there is to violoate in a Chop. Personally, I like it this way.. I do respect copyrights, but I don't take it too strictly myself.
Also, at PSC there is a closer link to the forums and the contests, which makes it more personal.
At Worth1000, every Photoshop, text, illustration, story, and so on, needs to have sources which are yours or you have permission of the auther to use it. Deviantart for example, is the Walhalla for most Worth1000-users because there is a lot of digital photography where permissions are given in most occasions by default or by the author.
The only reason this is done is because that's how it goes in the graphic world, you NEED to use original sources or ask permission to the author. It's also done to protect theirselves (worth1000)
It's very difficult to start off at Worth1000 if you come from PSC or if you just started using Photoshop. Their rules contain a lot of different factors and in the beginning, it can be very annoying, but eventually, it will not only make you bring in more effort when it comes to source-materials, it also makes you a better chopper.
Also, the level at worth1000 can't be compared to here. No offense, but just check out the images, it speaks for itself. It's not really weird that the level is so high, I know about 15 to 20 people at Worth1000 and I can name at least 10 of them who are active in the graphic design-world as illustrators, matte painters, concept-artists, and so on.
Anyway, bottomline: Each website has it's pro's and cons. If you chop for fun, PSC is the perfect place for it, but if you tend to compete on a more professional way and want guidance and help from professionals to help learning Photoshop, Worth1000 is the place to be.
I just like hanging out at both sites.

My first entry will be Britney Spears dancing with George Bush in front of the World Trade Center being attacked by the Millenium Falcon with a huge swatika on it. In the background I'll have a chorus line of bikini models disguised in a Osama Bin Laden beard eating Krispy Kreme donuts. I say always start off by pissing the mods off, let them know who's the boss and set them straight! Let them know that they are dealing with an artist that's not be trivialized with.
ME THINK YOU DON'T NEED TO WORK HARD, ME THINK YOU CAN USE THIS CHOP ME MADE. TAKE IT, IT IS YOURS.

BASTARDS!!
YOU STILL DON'T HAVE FIVE DAYS OR SO NO URLS FOR YOU, GABLER14.
Did you try to message them, the administrators or something? I would be upset if that happened with any of my images.
Oh, just so you know, the one who submitted that is banned.

Wow that sounds like a really great place. This thread began to sound like some Nazi multi level marketing...Strong rules - creative youth! So if anyone need gun pointed to his head to make a decent chop-go ahead, better yet, do it yourself.
So in the name of Worthless 1000 here STFUAC or GTFOH
