Good on you for slapping Marco and the others. Good on you, as well, for the classy response to PVS. Paul is a useful idiot. Mark is a disappointment.
How have you lasted in this leftist Hell hole so long?
Fwiw, I hope we're only re-experiencing the Jimmy Carter era, and not the Leninist Russia phase or the 1930's Germany thing. I don't have the energy to try to convince anyone here that we are witnessing the death of the West. I'm too busy trying to convince myself otherwise.
Now I'm going to watch Braveheart (some of it, anyway), and hit the hay.
Cheers to all.

There are quite a few statements there Ted.
Sorry to disappoint you firstly.
But I can not help be more pleased. On so many levels this could be the start of great things for America. And in turn being the super power it is, we in the uk take notice. As it effects us both directly and indirectly the actions and reaction America takes. So in response to Joe's previous statement. I will have my opinion, and through association of our nations I will take interest in the American election and the new leader of the free world.
Respect to McCain, his closing speech was that of a true gentleman.

It was right after the announcement. Give people time to digest this. Half the country is apprehensive at what is to come.
It's a great time for a little patience.

Ha... I can see some are scared!
I'm not surprise to see that maybe half the country is apprehensive at what is to come.
Because your ex-government was getting used to maintain fear. It was one of their propaganda's tools.
It really worked.
But there's nothing to fear about now.
You elected an honest & smart man. A man who's able to take right decisions.
A man who's probably able to built good international relations instead of thinking about the need of an anti-missile shield, by example.
We just hope he will do it well. Anyway, it can just be better than before...
