Usually I work on mac, but I've been out of town for the past couple days and I've been on a PC.

I know a lot of people who use Chrome, so I thought I'd try it. I got to the TOS, and decided against it. I happened upon this browser called Iron. It is made from the source code of Chrome, but it doesn't have the "spyware."

It looks just like Chrome, and it appears to have all of the same features, and it's faster than Firefox (I haven't done extensive testing, but it appears to be faster.)

Another cool thing is that they have a USB version that you can run from a thumb drive.

You can do that with regular Chrome (to my knowledge) as well as Firefox and Safari. Pretty much any browser. Thanks for the link. I don't think I'll ever be able to give up Firefox, but at least there is a better version of Chrome that I am aware of now, should I need it in the future.

I know you can do it with other browsers, I just wasn't sure about chrome.

Yeah, not too sure. I didn't use chrome firstly, because I am too attached to my firefox addons, and secondly, for the same reason you chose not to use it.
