How can I share a sound file.
I want to post a sound clip but I want people to be able to listen to it by clicking on it. All I can find are places that will host it but then you have to download it before you can play it. I don't want that. Can ya help?

If you want to post it on PSC..i don't think there's a possibility.
If you want to let people listen to it..you can always put it on a webpage, and embed it there... If you need a temporary webspace for it, pm me.
Or youtube?

angelfire.com might work. You can upload mp3s and copy a code that will give you an embedded player.
Here's a piece of shite version of a site I first played around with years ago:
http://www.angelfire.com/goth2/beyond_the_pale/words_music/songs.html
Just to say, might have what you're looking for.

How are you linking to the file and where did you put the mp3/wav that it failed? If you put the audio on your site and link to it then people should be able to play it in their browser (at least with Firefox they can, don't remember IE's default).
Try this on for size?

That didn't work very well.

You'll have to put it in an html file, and upload that file along with the MP3.

You need to host the file "as-is" somewhere that will link directly to the file and not to a share-link.
Then the code above needs to be put into an HTML file and loaded on your webserver. It's easier if your web page and audio file are on the same server.
