Please explain to the community why it is an acceptable behavior to hide links to sites that essentially take over your browser (and possibly fool people into believing that their computers are at risk) in discussion postings that are clearly intended to deceive the user into clicking the link.

hahaha was that suppose to intimidate me? if you want to get something off your chest say it now. No one cares about me rick rolling anyone, or the fact that this is not 1999 and everyone knows how to use a pc. Now I apologize if you found my thread disturbingly unfunny, but seriously... no one cares.

excuse me?.............I care!!!!...........i came real close to rebooting a computer that I would have lost alot of work on.......had I clicked on that link on that computer

I don't understand why anyone would "almost reboot" their computer. You could, you know, close the browser window? Maybe? Yeah, Rickrolling is annoying, but from your responses I thought he had linked to some scripted page that made it seem like a virus had been downloaded or something.
