Most big names in showbiz have performances they would rather have never done, and sometimes it involves trying a new form of . . . well, "artistic expression"

Umm, at least Nimoy can sing, it's an original piece and he doesn't do that "spoken version of a song" like Shatner does...

He says Molvania in the end, a tie in with the fake travel guides, one of which is about Molvania, a fictional ex Soviet state or satellite state.
