I am taking off too, tomorrow, for a week. Vounteering as a camp counselor for teens with HIV/AIDS. These teens have had it rough. All, as I am aware, were born with AIDS and many have lost parents, siblings, homes...it's just shit for them. During this week at camp we try to show them a good time (fishing, ropes course, rock walls, lotzo sports, art, swimming and a grand "dance" at the end of it all!), and we try to lend an ear. Going through puberty is rough enough without HIV/AIDS...these teens have a lot to deal with.

We get counselors from all over the states. If you ever are interested it is one of the coolest gigs you could do. You wouldn't regret it. Check out their site for more info.
