who can help me over here...
a few months (3,4,5?) ago, there was a thread & link with a continuous animation thingy. i have no idea what the proper name is but i'll try and explain.

the animation is sort of a continuous 'zoom in', or 'flight' through all kinds of (psychedelic) landscapes, and eventually returning to the first one and the fun starts all over again.

ring any bells, or do i have to elaborate?

my question of course is, how do i make one. is this an animated gif, or done with some other software? i had an idea for work using something like this, but have no idea where to start. can someone help me out?

it sounds like it was made in macromedia flash MX 2004 or an earlier version or one of the many rip offs like swish, if it was a long piece with smooth tweening a .gif file would be to big to be practical, try looking in here, good luck

for the record, the piece i'm speaking of looks like a collection of about 5 or 10 landscapes. the animation zooms in on one landscape and a second one appears (if i remember correctly) through clearly demarcated areas (a doorway, cave in the landscape etc) and so on.

does anyone know the piece i'm talking about, so i can post a link and be a H of a lot clearer on what i'm looking for?

ok, now that we have that sorted out, how the H do i make one

I have no experience with flash whatsoever, but have always wanted to try, so this is a good oppertunity. If anyone has hints / tips regarding making something like this, i'm all ears.
But i think i'll first just try and start to making a simple flash and go from there
