 Actually I do use them sometimes... like if i'm voting because its funny, i'll chose "humor" and write my piece  or if it just evokes an emotion w/in me i'll chose "theme"... etc But if i can't decide which one they fall under more or they fall under all of the above in my opinion... i just leave it selected on "other" Which I usually do since i like to believe that all the pscers here try to acheive all of the above.

Personally, I leave it on "other", except when there's a really outstanding entry. I think the "other" option is a good idea, because I would've most certainly ended up voting just about anything when pressured in time.

I use it, but I find myself using the (other) button too because some entries are all of the above, or a combo of more than one description"

that's useful when you're in a rush for voting and don't wanna spend time explaining each vote of your. too bad you can't use bot comment and vote option... for example: "nice work bro *idea*" where idea is the vote option

OK...I haven't submitted an entry in a while. Where are the results posted? Does each submitter get to see why people voted for his/her entry? Do the entries tally up the...does the rain in Spain...how does this work...do I look fat in these jeans....?

as far as I know (from my entries) you can't see which option was picked...

I use it most of the time, but every so often I forget it. Maybe it would be a good idea to leave all options empty, so that one HAS to choose one...
