I met this guy and he helped me trim my trees. He calls himself the Arbor barber. He came up with the following logo.


I told him it was way too busy.

Ran into Scionshade in the chat area and he suggested changing it to the tree artist using an Oak tree for the T.

I thought it would be cool to show him a few designs for each name... Anyone a wiz at making a logo... I seem kind of tapped out... So if anyone could help me out!!! please do. If it comes out really really good... I could mail the best logo something from Kansas!

I don't think anyone who's a wiz at logo making is going to be giving out logos for free. But lucky him, I'm not a wiz, so I may give it a try. No PS on this computer though, so I'll try later.

there's a whole slew of common names in this biz.
Atrbor barber is one...every guy in the biz named Smith is an ArborSmtih....
There's 'Top Knoch"...'A cut above"...and then there's the all times greatest one of all
that only one company is named ..We call it 'BOTS" for a short
This is definately one of those businesses that name recognition is a vital
point in teh 'make or break' zone.
What town ya in? For example..if yer town were say...
K-town......Old K-town Tree care would b great--
people are hipper these days too---Do the surfshop thing,,,
whatever yer town name take the first letter and town it..
ya live in Venice? V-Town Tree Company.
I regress.

Oh..and seriously...half the people have no idea what the hell "Arbor" means--
It's a name you use AFTER you've made a successfull business..
And another thing-- would you go to a hair salon that calls
itself "head arborists' ?
arborist is better represented by "tree care".

Oh..and ya can browse the names of all the registered tree car businesses at any 'arborist association' website.
