Every body knows that it can be really annoying if you realise that a unclean masking you did a the beginning of an shop destroys your work at the end.
This is a quick but effective method that helps you controlling your masking even if you screen don’t shows up the dark nuances in the mask. It has been helpful in many times for me so maybe it also works for you.

1. making a selection with the Magic Wand



2. adding a mask from the selection and invert it



3. add an outline effect to the layer. With the position “outside”. Basic settings of 3 pixel is ok.



4. Now you will be able to see any unsteadiness of your masking (Even this little 99% pixels you normally won’t see) and correct it by over painting them in the mask.

Yup, a trick I always use too Smile. Pretty effective.
