Well, first, I'd like to say, horray, I got off of my arse and went from 700 votes to over 1000 in a couple of days. See, that wasn't so hard now, was it? Ok, that was the good news. Now for the bad news: My POS computer decided to commit suicide, taking 10 gigabytes of my files with it to hell. Thats not even counting the programs...
Anyway, the IT guy at my dad's work (Doesn't everyone have an IT guy?) managed to resuscitate the thing enough to retrieve files. I don't know how well its going, but last I heard, he was trying to hook it up to the network at his work to move all the important stuff to their server. Then he'll wipe the HD and install Windows 2000 on it. (Whoopee, i'm only 2 operating systems behind everyone else now.) Just wanted to say hi, i'm not dead. See you all in a week or so, if all goes well. cheers

well...got the pc back, with it totally wiped and clean and fresh. Unfortunately, most of my stuff did not survive. I did get most all of my photoshop works back, but everything else is pretty much lost to the void.
