A lot of questions have been flying in about the prizes. Here are some more details:

We will be giving away *at least* one prize per week.

Prize contests are anonymous until they have ended.

We will ship to locations where common shipping services deliver to. If it is too remote then an online gift certificate will be provided as a replacement.

If your company wants to sponsor a prize, it is free to do so. The prize must have a retail value greater than 99 US Dollars.

Site sponsorship...

Can you chose to let the admin keep the money and use it for sponsorship?

I think you are asking that if you win a prize, would you have the option of declining it in place of running your own sponsored contest?

no i mean,

Advantage costs $24.95 per year so thats about a 4 year membership on that for the goods that value around $99 +

See what i am getting at here.

that way you get some of the best artists as a site sponsor. for 3 or more years.

Depending on the value of the goods (plus you get to keep your money or re-use the prize.)

"We will be giving away *at least* one prize per week. "

For example which would you like...
The camera
or
Gift certificate
or
An account upgrade for set time equal to the value of prize, (some people may like that option.)
That way if the person does choose advantage, you get to keep your camera. and reuse it as a prize later on (Or refund the money from the shop for a different prize.)

interesting, but I dont think so. If some one does not want the prize, they can pass it to the runner up. I have been working with sponsors and purchasing retail products that I think are things the member here would like to have Smile

There seems to be an issue with some places being heavily taxed on recieving shipped prizes.
Has a solution been found for this? Just curious.

Has PSC ever given an advantage membership away for a prize for those who are not advantage members (if their is even a way to do so). I noticed their are a lot of people on here who are not advantage members and their is probably some kind of reason behind why they arent, no money to do it, no credit card, etc. Not myself included, I am going to get the advantage membership, but it was just a thought.

I'd rather win omaha steaks Cool

So is prize selection going to get better as this site prospers?
