I have attempted to post a .gif image for an upcoming contest. I have an Advantage account, and the image is 800X600 and 288KB.
Every time I try to upload the image, I get an error message, advising me that the image does not fall wthin the size parameters of the upload policy. However, given the size
protocol for Advantage users, that image seems to easily meet the upload standard. However, I may have missed something very simple, but not obvious....
Am I missing something?

Here's ya problem
* JPEG and GIF image file formats only
* JPEG: Less than 1280px wide by 960px high
* GIF: Less than 550px wide by 450px high
* At least 500px wide by 350px high
* Under 512 KB in file size
* RGB or Greyscale mode
* Appropriate for all ages
* Free of copyright violations

Where did ya get that info in particular on the GIF sizing.....I knew about the others ya listed but the Bold type one on Gifs is new to me....

when your uploading an entry in a contest after it begins...I'm pretty sure it's in the faq somewhere

that is for after a contest starts.........

Advantade pre-posts doesn't specify a different size for gifs.

To be honest, I am still confused about the upload protocol for gifs. My understanding is that a person who has an Advantage subscription can upload a .gif that is 1280X960 and no greater than 512KB in size. The image that I want to upload is 800X600 and 192
KB. What am I missing? I just tried to upload that .gif file and the same error message keeps appearing suggesting that the upload protocol has been violated. This is a .gif post for one of next week's contests.
