I am wondering what books you have used that had the greatest impact on your Photoshop skills.
Here is a list of the ones I currently have in my modest collection:
Photoshop CS2 Killer Tips by Kelby/Nelson
The Photoshop Channels Book by Scott Kelby
The Photoshop CS2 Book for digital photographers by Scott Kelby
Adobe Photoshop CS2 Studio Techniques by Ben Willmore
The Photoshop Bible CS2
The Photoshop World 2006 Conference Training Book
The Photoshop World 2006 Pre-Conference Book
Photoshop User Magazine
Photoshop Speed Clinic by Matt Kloskowski
I have many of these books as well, and they are terrific, but if I had to select one thing that
has made the biggest difference is a seminar I attended on Advanced Masking Techniques with Katrin Eismann, and I would encourage everyone to get the "Advanced Masking Techniques" video from Software Cinema
here as well as Adjustment Layers.
Professional Alpha strategies, using Channels, double masking, working with Image Calculations and the "Blend If", which are all excellent and little used.
Oh, and the NAPP membership is well worth the investment.
