I know that alot of photoshop users have been having problems installing their PS CS3. If you were a beta cs3 user...you need to uninstall PS CS3 beta...then run a cleanup script that adobe provides on their website. If you do not...your cs3 will not work. Please goto this link on adobe's site and follow the instructions. Hope this helps...

What happens is, when you uninstall the beta it leaves the PS cs3 folder and some files, when you run the installation for cs3 it has trouble overwriting those files and it gives errors. So just delete the old beta folder and it should run smoothly.

not quite so straightforward as that Im afraid.

you need to delete all the leftover registry entries and a shitload of orphaned folders.

I don't have PS CS3 (I currently have PS CS2)... maybe I'll get it sometime, I'd like it for the "smart filters" mainly! Smile
