...is this going to go on? This has taken me the better part of an hour to post this. Slow-downs, crashes, slow-downs, crashes......
This site is becoming virtually unuseable. It certainly doesn't encourage people to want to post in contests, nor would it encourage users to take out an advantage membership. What the hell is going on?

It has become VERY discouraging.
Why take the time to chop and enter a contest when MORE THAN LIKELY, the site is either gonna:
A. Be down.
B. Go down as you upload.
C. Go down and stay down for HOURS.
My Advantage is up next week...and I am NOT renewing. I see no point in it.
Now...where did I put those other contest sites...at least THEY have a better uptime rate than PSC does.
(p.s. We Want Jeremy!!!)

I'm guessing that Proc's got his end of term finals going on. Hopefully this is his LAST semester and he'll have time to pay attention to PSC's inner workings.
But still, why buy a site if you don't have the time to manage it fully? Or at least have a tech guy on staff to fall back on to handle things when they go wrong?

And THAT, dear Tofu is probably the biggest, underlying issue:
WHY buy a site if you don't have the time on hand to run it?
And if you DON'T have time to run it, why not put someone else in charge? Mid-management, so to speak.

Apache with a php database, google ads, multi level accounts, and god knows what else behind a secure firewall is a huge, complicated script. Be patient with procyon. Even our beloved PSC god jmh132 had issues in the beginning.

Well, SURE he did. He was just building the site.
Proc bought a fully functional, fully OPERATIONAL site.
Well, it WAS operational.
(See above comments re: time issues and site management)
