i've had this problem but with different cursors. basically it just seems to get stuck on one cursor and you can't do anything. i fix it by closing down photoshop and restarting Confused

Micose..alot of times by default the ADOBE software is set to automatically download and install updates.....find that and turn it off.....That's when it happens the most.(if you got it form Capt.CROOK) Cool ....mine also done the same thing a few days ago......but it was not from the updates...and like YOU and DB...a restart fixed it?????..Not sure what that was....other than a MISLOAD..of some sort.

Now since that one is done......what about the Bridge in PS....do any of you use it???....i saw where they are stoping the PHOTOservice...but with a date like April 1...for ending the service.....it would'nt suprise me if it was an APRILFOOL'S prank....The reason i ask is because, after shutting down PS...my internet is slower...(wifi networked-dsl).....if i go to the REPAIR button under the wireless connections and restart or Refresh the connection....the speed picks back up to normal....i just wondered if anyone else noticed this......I'm thinking the APP/.exe for bridge is not releasing the bandwidth it uses after shutdown. Just wondering if anyone else notices this....or if you even use the Bridge????

And What format does this site load in....western european(ISO)...w.e.(windows)....utf8..??????? just wondering because if i have a problem with the PIC's not loading....it seems to work best in UTF???but by default...my comp laods it in ISO....anyone know?????

Sometimes you have to "talk to the hand"...

...And tell it to get the f--k out of your face! Laughing

Did someone from here do this? Rolling Eyes

Happened to me too, just now :S
Cursor changed to the hand and nothing will change it.

Maybe it could help to post what your last actions were before this happened?
Mine were: - Loading external patterns & textures.

That's odd.
right after I finished typing my previous message, I went back into PS and the problem was solved. (without restarting PS)

Now that makes sence, does it Smile

THis does happen from time to time. I have not found any logic or reason to it. Usually if you just proceed and PRETEND the cursor is the way you want it to be, it will sort itself out after a few clicks.

One of those UNSOLVED PS MYSTERIES.

I would not loose too much sleep over it, since there are a number of us that get this wacky behavior you can at least feel better that it isn't your particular equipment F*ing up on you! Wink
