hey im new to this whole thing, im not sure what im doing, but i was using photoshop 7.0 and someone lost my layers palette (atleast i think its what its called), i dont have the box that shows my layers channels and paths, and when i did, before i xed it out, it only showed channels n paths, either way i need my layers and ive tried everything on there, can someone please help me??

on the menu on top:

have you tried

window--> layers

1. Window - Layers (or F7)
2. Check if it's not "docked to pallette well" at the top of the screen
3. Window - Workspace - Rest Pallette Locations will bring everything to default (you lose your current workspace arrangement if it hasn't been saved)

Try dragging the bottom right corner of the palette, or click on the + on top of the palette, beside the button to close the box

if you haven't found it yet, try increasing the res of your display. in the past i've lost windows due to change of screen size
