this topic again?!?

Look, even if they were all anon contests (which I'm all in favor of, but as some have said... you can tell still who is who, Micose's style comes to mind), and those who cheat would still be PM'ing each other for votes in said contests

FACT: we all get 25 votes... use them how YOU see fit.

When the real world ends because of the voting bias here, call me.

IF you figure out a way to stop the cheating for more honest voting... call me.

I personally am taking a long break from PSC. (for those who haven't noticed my recent absence) Its because I'm not learning much of anything right now, other than watching all you piss, bitch, moan and tear each other apart about whats been going on here FOREVER...

Quite frankly, this place has gone from being lots of fun, to being anything but fun the past few months. I've got better things to do, in my few precious hours of free time, than to listen to a bunch of whiners complain about stuff that really doesn't matter what-so-ever in the real world. I came here to learn and hone my craft. PSC had done that for me. But I'm not interested anymore in the day to day goings on here when all I hear is negativity. Its no wonder a lot of the really good artists have left this place.

I'm striving to be a tigger, and not let the eeyores of the world drag me down! Not talking about you Designed2522... (I've always been a fan of your art) ...just this place in general, its not like it used to be and it saddens me.

Shawn thanks, I know that you wernt directing it right at me Smile I too have learned rediculous amounts from all sorts of people within this website and for that I thank you all!!!

Honest Judging can only be achieved if we have independent judges.

Discuss.

What judges? Who says that just persons are going to be just? Are they also human, not? and ..if I do not like his taste???? They are bribed...Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

Geesh yourself for responding yet again to the topic that refuses to die. Laughing

Certainly there can be no honest judging when there is such diversity in talent and reasons for entering contests, and those same people vote. Or can there? Anyway, what's the point of an independent panel of judges. If it comes to that, it's time to move one's career beyond PSC (but do come back and visit). Besides, deep down I think people enjoy the turmoil, the aliases, the sniping, the cold shoulders because when an entry truly does place where it should it gives us all the warm fuzzies. Razz

THANK YOU!
my point exactly.

There is no good way to do this. so.... If it ain't fixed don't break it!

The system is flawed. It always has been. It always will be.

Pissing and moaning wont SOLVE anything.

Coming up with new ideas on whats broken, will at least help in discussion.

I agree, if we have independent judges, they would have to be a diverse group to say the least. Art is subjective. Just because I love space images, doesn't mean judge b does... Plus they would have to know what the hell they're doing with photoshop. Not just us regular joes.
In other words.... It'll never happen. Much like 'honest voting & judging'

Carry on... Nothing more to see here.

Plus it would weed out the 12 year olds that want to have fun at your expense and vote in a crap piece.

Why weed them out? I say play for their vote. It would be easy. 12 year olds like Porn, Pot, Beer, Cigarettes, Guns, Explosives and Disemboweling.

God forbid the three year olds take over, This f-ing place would be wall to wall elmo.

lollllllllllllllllll I am laughing for the first time in a week.... you guys are killing me really. It's good to laugh.

Elmo? only if he's talking!!!!!!! I know why I love JanetDog... you're a keeper.
But really you have described maybe what a 12 year old boy wants to see. A 12 year old girl wants some
1- flowers
2- lots of pink and purple hearts
3- Zac Efron
4-some glitter gifs
5-a good girl fight with mud
: Cool

Yes!!! This is an old old topic that always coming back, Shocked . I have a suggestion. Let's make all the even number dates to be anonymous contest and all the odd number dates to be just like the regular set up. By this way, everybody can have what they want every other day, Very Happy . This is just a suggestion, I don't have a problem with the on going system, I am now used to it. (pardon my english)

I have suggested this before: give non-advantaged members one-day head start (contest/voting starts one day AFTER the source image is made public). When n/a members start kicking more advantaged ass, maybe everybody will try a wee bit harder.
