It was definitely the nicest 975 layer upside down pot I've ever seen. I don't care how much lipstick you put on a pig, IT'S STILL A PIG!

Look at the nine pictures under yours for the 'most voted'. They are all much better than yours.


I guess there really is no accounting for taste. Marco's gif wasn't that bad. I think the exact same picture with someone else's name wouldn't have done as well. Just like the upside down pot. If it would have been entered six or seven hours after the opening bell under someone else's name, It wouldn't have been any where near the top.

Look at some of the brilliant artists of our time. They didn't paint fantastical, humorous pictures with cats and cows. They painted a simple picture of a lady who's not even smiling. And it's not famous because of the subject, it's famous because of the ability of the artist to capture the moment.

That's exactly what Claf did. The idea was not BRILLIANT! It did not double me over with laughter, but the execution was absolutely fan-frickin-tastic! There was nothing else in the contest that was as much a piece of art as Claf's entry. I am glad it won, IMHO it should have.

Take it for what it's worth, psssht you can't even buy a stick of gum with what it's worth... But there it is...

That's what I said. There's something you don't understand, or rather you don't see. Your eyes aren't able to see exactly what's about skills & execution. The top nine under mine were creative ideas, very well done but were easier executions... and mostly enough easier. Here I don't want to look like pretentious, that's just my perception.

About boring ideas, I don't need to say I don't like this or that, this shouldn't win... it's only my opinion and I usually don't feel to share it.

To win the reunion contest with a bad & boring idea... and also to beat records... I think this idea is interesting... no? I like it!

Look jdog like me ya been here for a long time and votes are just that votes, win or loose its just game. I agree with az one the skill issue it was the best chop on the day because of the skill involved.

That 'crack' was the first thing I saw when I looked at your upside down pot. It's also the reason your picture will never be as good as pictures from the people listed above you.
