not too bad & I like the idea, could use some shadows though... also, be sure to remember to watch your light sources too... the background has the light cast from the left... the cactus in front has it to the right

Nice backdrop but needs better integration:. ie; light, under shadow, try some rocks or dust on top of his feet, and desaturate a bit the dillo:. feed the habit vote:.
