I did try out your suggestion tadams but it does not seem to work. I also wanted to keep the original layout to give the suggestion of "mother nature" as part of the environment. I fact I kept the background and worked with it.

Maybe if it was cropped differently. Her head seems too high and too much to the right, unless your focus is the hair.
