@manic..I feel it aids in the comp. and sense of depth (in relation o the front bird) as well,the slight sense of motion counters the rest of the static image.I don't really want all the attention on the middle bird,rather as a point of reference. thanks

@ Todd. I see what you mean...by making it brighter I accentuated the noise in the original image.I've given it a dose of smart blur to erradicate most of the noise, but keep the focus and the nice fall colours.I hope it helped.thanks for your observation
