I am havign serious issues with the sngle of the boot, from a fresh viewers perspective, it just instantly looked all wrong, slightly to the left, and tilted when shadows suggest it is flat on floor on beetle, i'll look again in morning, maybe to tired

You mean angle? I think it works.? It's right. I know, because I photographed my left leg and this boot lines up perfectly with where my show was. Maybe it's the dent (separation of segments) that is bothering you??
