I like this strange image very much, but I have a couple of questions. Why do the holes decrease in size while the thickness of the metal increases as the eye moves from foregorund to back? What light source produces those shadows?

All very good questions Tawiskaro. Those curly things are casting shadows down but there is no light above them. They are also casting shadows on the door? Did you make the rust overlay? I've seen it before. No?

thats nice rust Rey, but not mine, it is from my stock of indian ink and gauche paint effects I do and scan and store, although I have used this one before I think, the door shadows arn't shadows, they are reflections...

...the light sources are present in the image, although not all, i.e: the holes with light coming from them, & the bottom holes Ted, good point, I was happy with they way they sat in the end, but I see ya point, the left side is a tad stretched cheers :o)
