Hmm, I am not perfect when it comes to figuring out shading and perspective, but I think the shadow would be longer and softer, the orange looks like it isn't sitting, but floating. Here is a visual http://artsillustration.com/ball4.JP Hope that helps :)

There is no tie for it to the once wall now floor. maybe a faint circular second shadow there to ground it. Also lite hits center yet shadow to right? ; { )

In that light the bottom part of the orange seems to be having too much dark shadow, I would have used darker orange or brown colour to shade that part of the fruit
Granulated Granulated
right... main problem...the white (or light grey, what have you) tiles would reflect more light than the orange.

i updated per suggestions may have too refresh browser if you don't see the reflections ;)
Granulated Granulated
when i said the tiles would reflect more light I didnt mean the a more intense reflection of the orange was needed, I meant that they should simply be brighter. As it stands, if we accept the reflective attributes the the shadow would almost disappear.
Granulated Granulated
THe reflection of the orange would always be less intense than the actual orange. Even on a perfect 100% reflective surface it would only be the of equal intensity.
Granulated Granulated
the perspecive 'rake' of the tile surface should be lowered a fair amount
Granulated Granulated
The strangely over bright light dot on the orange is erroneous. I'm pretty sure you couldnt make that happen (IRL) even using a flash gun at really close range
