@anna: The Earth isn't round. It bulges at the equator due to the rotational spin. You can see Africa and Saudi Arabia in the pic so there's your equator.

Thanks for taking the time Sjitske. Its not that flashy, but there was a TON of work done. Gears remade, color corrections, hand movement. Stars & atmosphere made. yada yada yada. Nobody cares.

being a reflection I didn't want the face to stand out too much. since the lighting is behind God. I felt it was 'enough' but thank you Trace, it means a lot that you took the time to critique and not just "..." or pass it by all together.

The more I come back to this the more the face stands out. I think the gooey glass stuff (not sure what it is) interferes, especially where it goes across the left eye and forehead.
