WOW ! I like everything you did here. The only improvement I might suggest would be on the blue dome color. It should be closer in color to black as we should be able to vaguely see through the dome to the other side. TJ you have a winning work here ! ;)

it looks as if you took a short cut by cutting the dome out with sky, I may be wrong, yet clicking it big suggests this may not be the case, so by keeping the sky blue colouring may be harming how people see this, as I really like it, a great entry

TJ, don't sweat it. This is still a winning chop no matter what. To this day, I still can't figure out how to do most of the stuff ReyRey, Marco, Niko and others do in their chops around here. Its a game of pushing our own limits.

If you just keep playing around with the Select > Color Range and Hue/Saturation, you should be able to knock out the blue sky to your satisfaction.
