@ Sean: I thought of that,but I couldn't very well put the swan out in space so I figure I'd put him high enough so the notion of relative motion was almost negligeble.That way it's only unbelievable if you look at it for a prolonged length of time.

My first try was with a moving forest (4 frames) for a backdrop but it went way over the top in Kb (over 2Mb opt.).After spending a couple of hours on it alreadyand seeing that the contest had already started,I decided on this bird's eye view background.

The important thing for me with this gif,was the challenge of trying to capture the synched fluid motion of the swan's whole body in flight.And for that I'm pretty happy with it...Oh and I liked that little "aura",that's why I left it. ;·)
