Trann - I thought about a water reflection but the angle of the light over the trees would mean its more than likely out of shot... I may be wrong but the angle of the light is fairly steep...

as for the shadows,the angle is almost straight down and from the left,at least according to the shadows from the shrubbery on the beach.
