not a bad idea, but the shadow is destroying all the nice sand edging work where the plane meets the sand. Infact the shadow work may be amongst the worst the universe has seen. good depth, great idea, lovely edging, detailed rust & damnge... shadow what!

hard to do from a flat image, and I rushed it cos the F1 final grand prix is about to start in Brazil lol, but here is a general idea although the shadows are too dark ing some areas. Tried to open up the tonal range and givethe image more impact too:

the main problem is the blotchy style of the shadow under the engine and main airframe of the plane especially.. ok gotta go, hope this helped.
