Looks like you tried to repair the use to be red elements With clone tool, blur tool and mouse. Click once with brush tool then go to the point you want the brush to stop hold shift and click once more. This will make a nice straight line.

You can also paint in a straight line by holding shift. in a case like this you may can cut a hunk off and drag it out.

I hear what your saying, the extension on the roof was meant to have an edge (like a corner) almost but yes its not done particularly well. Thanks for the tips ;)
