the shadow below her right eye is a bit too strong, making her nose look flat, there's also a lot less light towards the right end of the pic, so the cloth couldn't be as bright, good job on warping, ever tried a displacement map?

This uses a displacement map. http://photoshopcontest.com/view-entry/159965/piscis-australis-update.html Before Rey's suggestion it was merely a clipping mask. Never thought to use liquify with such a more effective means of achieving your goal.

Good*! The tear would be more effective if sharpened..tighten the shadow...and a specular highlight added.

TJ TJ
Thanks guys. @Hagen, I used the liquify thinger and the old 12 in 1 technique. @JGJ, I didn't do that... It was already there, but thanks.
TJ TJ
@supa, never tried displacement map... I'll look into it tho. Thanks
MentalWard MentalWard

Hey TJ what do you mean by the old 12 in 1 technique lol...? Never heard of it lol...? And thanks Eve it was displacement map I meant lol not gradient map lol...!
TJ TJ
@Hagen, 12 beers in 1 hour. :) hahaha. I want to learn about using displacement map. Looks like it could be handy. Thanks
TJ TJ
Thanks Eve

hey people, especially Supakoma, how would did you use a displacement map here??? Toward a shadows? But how?
the burning couch the burning couch
Good job on warping but better to sharpen the fabric a bit afterwards as warping does warp/smear the smaller details, sometimes. I dont think a displacement map would work so well here. *!*
