Very fun chop. Did you use the polygonal lasso for the ears? Pen tool would've worked better. Also, it would be nice to have some shadow under the leaves.

found out what Ted meant, and thought I would leave a breakdown f how I achieved this from source...

the elephant you can see the head is a flower, the side parts of the flower are the ears, warped and tidied up. Then the body is 6 of the flowers rotated and merged, then healed together with the healing brush...

...the legs are the nose of the flower warped again & liquified into shape. Next the water, 8 sections of the elephant body, merged together & healed, warped into shape, the desert is just a larger version of the water & then faded out and noise added...

...The trees are made of the elephants legs repeated and overlapped to make the palm trunk sections. The leaves are all flowers with nicks cut out to look like palm leaves. Then shadows added & final touch up done.
