Love the shoe but not the square part of the base. Seems like a perspective issue maybe?

"Nice chop MM, tofu's right the base lets it down though because of the shadow it casts! You've used a layer style shadow for the shoe AND the base, a big no-no. Make your shadows on a 'SEPARATE LAYERS' so you can control them.

great work on this, superb, although the shadows on the gradient bg take away from the overall chop. Either leave the shadow off, with a little at the base, or maybe keep the shoe shadow and add a wall line by the base, and adjust the base shadow to fit
