A few months ago i was given a program called Adobe Photodeluxe 3.0. Been practising since and entering the Photoshop Comp since April. I will be happy if i can attain the skill level yourself and many others display. I am loving this site.

Thx johndownunder. I started to play with Photoshop 1,5 year ago. I had exactly the same thoughts. Doh... still have looking at some entries :) But the most important in that thing are the ideas, which I don't have too many, and you can't practice it :

Yep Nat, you're right. I saw that to and tried to fix that, blurred a cigar and sharpened the claws but couldn't do nothing more. I could use the ext. with sharp claws but wanted to use as lot source as possible.

One trick you can try that I use sometimes for sharpening...copy the claw to new layer then Filter->Other->High Pass, set to about 15. Set layer blend mode to overlay. I tried it quickly on your image and it made a little difference. Subjective though.

Thanks guys! @Tpsimer: it usually take me 2 or 3 days, (couple hours/ day) to get my chop done. You should be aspireing something higher (but thanks) :D Now I see a lot of small mistakes I've made :)
