i can tell ur starting out, if someone had told me straight up when I started it would have done wonders. where do i start try and make things realistic when working with images, if it doesnt work in life, it wont work on a image.. work on depth .

work on your layer modes, just play with it, take that sword, take that layer and add a bevel and emboss, increase size, and change layer mode to color dodge, fool with the opacity, then add an outer glow, color black, change layer mode. add stroke

add an inner glow, to the sword, color white, change layer mode to color dodge, change opacity.. after all that fool with the settings, then create a new layer over the sword and paint shadows around it black, fuzzy low opacity.

get rid of that blue splotch going through the sword, it just doesn't work..

i would try and picture that sword smashing through that monitor, not displaced like it is, just picture how it would look and work towards that. ok there are my tips now go get em grass hopper
