thx luis, i thought about just an eerie shadowy hand below the water, but thought it would be too subtle to be seen on first glance, so i opted for the tree stump as well, to help sell the presence of the under water shadow.

but if look at the other shadows there,you donīt see the trees that cast them either, that leaves more to the imagination and imo makes for a more interesting image...
