top of the rock could be defined a little better and would like to see all of his boots, but imo the best image in the comp and a winner :)
Luxwiz Luxwiz

the manipulation of the knight makes me vote for this. Great find. Grats..
Luxwiz Luxwiz
X now that I found the external for this I don´t know,I thought you created the bg and the put together the knight, and as I mentioned before the rockpile could also have been integrated better...imo a link to the external wouid have been appropiate here
Luxwiz Luxwiz
lol,and now I see why you put a helmet on him...it was Roger Federer [img] old.distractify.netdna-cdn.com...
Expression Expression
@Lux To be honest I was looking for a knight in full armour (helmet included) so the original picture was not suitable since he never had an helmet on :)
Expression Expression
Also I could have easily changed the sky & floor but it would've only been similar to what is already there, so for the first time I found an image what ticked the boxes, I still did manipulate it though with tools to improve quality and lighting.
Expression Expression
I agree with the rocks but the source was poor IMO Thanks to everyone :)
Tarmac Tarmac
Congrats

Man, you placed the source in a dramatic scene, 86% votes the whole atmosphere drama. You re a good chopper, you don't need this. At other sites "your" creation would be rejected
Luxwiz Luxwiz
poor source for all...the idea is cool & well I can understand what you´re saying about finding the right image and all,not taking away from that, but in this case you could have put a link to it with the entry so we know what work was involved, just saying
Expression Expression
@Lux Principally you have just done the same thing though, as do many others, you manipulated the source and placed it directly onto one image.
Expression Expression
Thanks papavales $ Tarmac :)
Expression Expression
"&" It should have been :)

congrats

Thanks corneel :)

Well in my image I had two externals,St.George was from another image and I manipulated the bg image also by replicating the middle cement base on which the sculpture was on from the one on the left,so it wasn' t just one external I paste the source on
Luxwiz Luxwiz
Don´t take me wrong I just think that in an image like this where "the external is such a big part of the visual impact of the whole",it is only fair that you include a link to the external so people can discern between what is your work and what is not
Luxwiz Luxwiz
...like what you did for your Covered Bridge entry, an excellent chop btw !
Expression Expression
Thanks Tesore :)
Expression Expression
@Lux I also did some clone work on the image, some of the sky, floor & knight is cloned also the helmet is a seperate external. Just feels a little hypocritical when I look at your original external
Expression Expression
I understand what you are getting at though and if I am ever lucky enough to find an external what doesnt need major changes I would put a link there :)
Luxwiz Luxwiz
thanks X, glad you understand what I was getting at...and congrats again :)
