I put up a link to the external image source of the sunset I used for top extension and water reflection,the extension to the right was done from the given source then tweaked blur,color tone and levels for final blending and image integration

Its a decent extension.. but the water ripples come to a peak where the extension and original meet. Can see it most at the grass reflection. After mirroring image maybe distort to make ripples in line.

good observation but the different angles in ripples is due to the fact that there´s a bifurcation in the canal so water comes from two directions and meet there at that point ;)

Yup... anyone looking at this outside the contest would never think its anything other than an original photograph.

The govornment should have hired us to fake the lee harvey oswald photos. No one would have questioned the authenicity if we did them.
