I like your banana idea :)
Maybe mask part of the bottom of the banana so it seems sunken under the water, it looks like it is floating at the moment. Also, you could make the reflection a bit stronger and disrupt it at parts where the waves would be.

Some shade under her arm. And under the paddle on boat. Her reflection is much darker on original. Maybe try to match that. See how it gets really dark where boat meets the water? Try for that. Wluld be a big improvement. Good job though

Maybe a little darker on the underside of the B boat and in the water closest to rhe boat in some places. The reflection itself is not too bad. Just needs a bit more darker yellow as the reflection fades to shade near the b boat.
