How much of this was created manually and how much using external software? I'm guessing the head/neck motion is manual (bravo!) and the spinning doohickey is an external app (boo!).

tawiskaro the speaker is actually made using photoshop- using many circular gradient layers and a bit of color grading after-.... the speaker motion was also done in manually photoshop-circular crop the speaker cone area then size change frame by frame
