the string's shadow is too fat, it should only be on one side of the string. and there shouldn't be a shadow showing on the string and ball in the gray background part.

First thing Cherree, don’t re enter same entry, but edit it, and Google how to render realistic shadows. Hope it helps.

isolate the drop shadow layer, (right click "create layer") then add a layer mask and mask out all areas beyond the paddle area. it wont be perfect, only a good start :) tip: drop shadows rarely work well

on second thought, drop the drop shadow idea, and do the above mentioned research, :)

Tried to do a drop shadow on each layer, but it changed both, so I guess it is tutorial time. I have mostly done images from scratch, not chopping. TH ANKS!
