caps would be pure black. reflections would be gone on the shadows - and might actually be toward the bottom left if any. and a lighter reflection would help - I think I know what you are going for.

I have the opposite problem. My monitor at home is too dark usu.

hers is plasma and the resolution is too good it messes up her contrast and stuff
