depending on the program you use, there will be some option that says "optimization" (or something similar) If you use ImageReady, there is an optimize window where you can change the quality to around 70 so the file size is lower but the quality isnt los

i still like it, and you can not make a decent GIF less than 100kb unless it's 2 or 3 frames, save the original pic to web, then work with that
